    Description

    Two VITA Classical Shade Guides A1-D4 (Modified)
    First guide has the "cervical" or neck portion removed.
    Second guide has both the cervical and incisal removed.
    Many patients do not always match guides that have the full cervical color.   Removing the cervical and or incisal from the guide allows for a closer color match of mid portion of tooth for a closer color match and final restoration.
    The final color of all-ceramic crowns is influenced by the color of both the remaining tooth structure and the surrounding gingival tissue.  Having modified shade guide options offers the technician more information for that perfect match.
